RED FLAG
The world in the RED FLAG series is a harsh environment of struggle and competition. Survival strategy is embodied in the male form, an image that combines the generally accepted symbols of strength and power: broad shoulders, expensive suits, a fine watch whose ticking hands lend an even greater impetus to his confident gait, because time waits for no one... it's either now or Monday.
The characters are dynamic, able to take up a significant portion of the canvas. In such a deliberately masculine environment, it's easy to identify weaknesses out of place in this harsh world.
The exhibition becomes a space of metamorphosis, where the feminine, to survive, is forced to hide behind the mask of the masculine, and the masculine reveals a pampered weakness, the medal stars on the shoulder straps turn out to be naval stars, and the wreath on the head is merely an attempt to hide emerging horns.
A red alert, a means of attracting attention: something is wrong with this world, everything is mixed up. The viewer is faced with a choice: to allow the confusion to grow or to restore the lost order.
